Yellow Pages Ban
Those unwieldy bricks also known as the Yellow Pages may finally be out of our lives for good. Unless you request yours, the Board of Supervisors is one step closer to banning the delivery of unwanted phone directories. Of course, the final vote is next week and the Yellow Page industry is in full lobbying mode.

You know those yellow bricks that you have no idea what to do with? Well, the phone books you either let become rain-soaked clumps on your stoop or clunky door stops somewhere in your house may be a thing of the past. David Chiu, president of the Board of Supervisors, is proposing a ban on unwanted Yellow Pages.
