Come to the Divisadero Corridor Art Walk this Thursday, August 11th to check out some art, eat great food, have a few drinks, enjoy live music, and do a little shopping. Expect to see art displayed not only in studios, but on the street, in bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, and even hair salons.
New Parklets Pop Up
Eight new parklets have been approved by the city with nine more in varying stages of approval. As the SF Examiner tweeted: “More San Francisco parking spots to be converted to parklets.” Each mini park takes up roughly 2 parking spots. But, hey, at least you get space to lounge around on the streets.
