Dragon Boat Festival Returns to San Francisco
The 17th Annual Kaiser Permanente SF International Dragon Boat Festival is celebrating “The Year of the Water Dragon” this year, with events scheduled for Treasure Island on Saturday and Sunday.

This weekend head to Treasure Island to watch as over 120 of dragon boat racing teams compete at the San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival. But that’s not all, this festival also includes fun cultural activities, live music and dance, international food, arts & crafts, and other vendors.

If the developers have anything to do with it then, yes, Treasure Island – that inconveniently-located piece of land that most SFers only flock to for the music festival- will one day be one of SF’s most exclusive residential enclaves.
