Poster Art and Mural Walk (15th Street)
I stumbled upon a few posters and murals on a little walk through the Mission this week. These pieces are so colorful and bright. A pleasant surprise! Murals and posters can be found in the Mission between 15th and 18th Street along Valencia. Don’t forget to check out a new wall that’s being freshly painted on 15th.
SF Street Art: “R” Mural and “MOM” poster at Cunningham Place
Spotted this fiery mural at Cunningham Place. Across from it was this great poster. I love this guy with the MOM tattoo.
SF Street Art: Cunningham Place
Fantastic mural at Cunningham Place, a small, quiet alley by Mission Playground. This woman holds the whole city in her hands. I feel comforted just looking at her!
Homelessness = SF’s Biggest Problem?
The City Insider reports that San Francisco residents have rated homelessness as the city’s biggest problem. Really? I would have thought it was crime – you know, with the over dozen murders we’ve had this year alone along with the numerous reports of theft and battery. Who are these people?
