In Northern California, late summer harvest means pears and apples, figs or walnuts. It means fresh, good tasting food for a fair price. You don’t need to wait until Saturday mornings for the epic farmer’s market at the Ferry Building. Wednesdays and Thursdays provide opportunities to get some good tasting farm food.
