The San Francisco Giants will be spending their off-day at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Continuing a time-honored sports tradition, the 2010 World Series champions will be honored at the White House on Monday afternoon by President Barack Obama.

What I want to know is which hapless staffer decided to kick off President Obama’s 2012 campaign on this day of all days in a town with pot dispensaries on every other corner and not notice the corollary.
