After the Rain
PENPOP: Colors bounce off the wet sidewalk on rainy days. Two paint dripped RODIs near Civic Center hold water in the counters of the R, O and D creating a contrast with the drying sidewalk. In SOMA a third piece’s paint speckled background is deepened and complemented by yesterday’s showers.
Fresh Paint on Harrison & 6th
We just caught a few bright new works (and some great existing pieces) across the street from 1AM Gallery off Harrison & 6th Street. It’s likely that some of these works were produced in association with 1AM, and might even be one way they’re promoting their Beautification Through Murals concept.
