Virus Causes Closure of SF High School
St. Ignatius College Preparatory will remain closed for the rest of the week after a stomach virus sickened more than 300 students and 30 teachers at the school this week.
Steve Jobs Leaving Apple
At least for the time being. The CEO is going on a mysterious, undisclosed medical leave (the 2nd in 2 years) while COO Tim Cook holds down the fort. The mere announcement of his leave caused Apple stocks to plunge 6.4% (in the European market as today the Stock Market is closed). Maybe he’ll go back to Flour+Water to grab a pizza while he’s off work?
