Frey Norris Gallery Closing Party
Since 2002 the Frey Norris Gallery has been showcasing some of the best artists in the world, and now they are saying goodbye….at least until February 2011 when they’ll be moving into their fancy new 5,100 square foot Gensler-designed digs in the Yerba Buena Arts District. Like The Jeffersons – they’re moving on up. So go by the Geary Street gallery for the closing party on Saturday, December 18th, 5-8pm, and raise a glass to many more years of good art.
Event of the Day: Believer Magazine’s 2010 Art Issue release party
There are a lot of cool events happening tonight, but my pick goes to Believer Magazine’s 2010 Art Issue release party at Electric Works gallery, 7:30-9:30pm. There’ll be art, a musical performance by Peggy Honeywell a.k.a. Clare Rojas, interesting people, wine, a presentation by Michael Light on his new work of aerial photographs of L.A., literary folks, stuff to buy, etc. Did I mention art?
