Hundreds of SF DUI Convictions Could Be Jeopardized
A large number of recent DUI convictions in San Francisco are now being called into question because of the way police tested devices used to measure the blood alcohol level of suspected drunk drivers.
Sober Up
SF Appeal reports that the SFPD will be holding a sobriety checkpoint in Potrero Hill (at Potrero Avenue and 23rd Street) on Saturday, January 22nd from 8:30am going on till the wee hours of the night. Why they are announcing the DUI checkout days ahead of time is anyone’s guess. Now all the reckless drunkards will know to avoid Potrero as they’re slamming home Four Lokos.
