It’s an end of a era. An era of 30 years of autocratic rule toppled by 18 days of peaceful protests. The New York Times (and just about every news agency in the world along with it) reports that, “President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt resigned his post and turned over all power to the military…”
Things are getting crazy in Egypt as protesters continue demonstrations against the government and President Hosni Mubarak’s 30-year rule. Egyptian protesters are now defying a curfew and remain on the streets. First Tunisia then Sudan and now Egypt? Things are getting really shaken up in North Africa.
