SF Federal Appeals Court Will Not Rehear Arguments in Prop 8 Case
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco has declined to reconsider a ruling that struck down Proposition 8, California’s ban on same-sex marriage.
SF Appeals Court Rules Proposition 8 Unconstitutional
In a 2-1 vote the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled Proposition 8, the measure banning same-sex marriage in the state of California, as unconstitutional.
Ruling Expected in Proposition 8 Case
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco plans to announce it’s ruling on Tuesday on whether Proposition 8 violates the constitutional rights of same-sex couples.
CA Supreme Court Allows Appeal in Prop 8 Ruling
The California Supreme Court has unanimously ruled that the sponsors of Proposition 8, a measure which banned same sex marriage in the state, can appeal a federal court decision which struck down the measure.
