Street Style: Funky and cool in the FiDi

Posted by Alexandra Naughton on Sep 20, 2012 | Comments (0)

We spotted Robin in the Financial District on an unusually warm (for San Francisco) afternoon wearing this delightful combination of baroque paisley-pattern leggings, cut-off jean shorts, undershirt, granny-style knitted sweater, bold tribal-inspired jewelry pieces, and these fabulous John Fluevog ankle boots with bead embellishment on the laces.

Noticing Robin on the street was not difficult—we actually did a double take before stopping to ask if we could photograph her. Robin describes her style as “rock and roll,” and her love of thrift finds keeps her look eclectic and mixable. Her favorite places to find buried treasures are the Goodwill stores on Van Ness and in the Mission, Loehmann’s, and the shops of Haight street.
