Event: Chronicle Books Store Opening

SF publisher Chronicle Books is opening its third store in the fancy new Metreon building. And they’re throwing a little party to celebrate. There’ll be drinks, treats and, yes, lots of books.

There will only be nine other new retailers included in the Metreon’s $30 Million renovation. And while this is Chronicle Books third store, it looks to be its fanciest. Architecture firm Aidlin Darling Design (the people who did Bar Agricole & Bar Bambino) designed the Metreon store.
