“Gay” Songs for the Holidays

The word “gay” has a variety of meanings, so when the HuffingtonPost featured a post, “The 21 Gayest Christmas Songs”, my curiosity was piqued. Was it going to be something rude, something serious or not? Well, it was a funny post for many reasons.

Many of the songs brought back awkward memories of youth. Some of the videos were plain hilarious; lots of hair styles to love. Indeed, some of the artists featured are gay. If you liked some of the songs on the list, you were called “gay”. And some of the songs plain suck.

Check it out! You’ll smile, laugh, skip a few songs, yet overall be delighted. I’ve played “The Little Drummer Boy / Peace on Earth” a few times already.
