Last American Car Dealership in SF Closes

The last American car dealership – SF Ford Lincoln Mercury on 1595 Van Ness – selling new cars has closed down in SF. Apparently there was a decided lack of interest in U.S. cars. This means that if you live in San Francisco and want to “buy American”, you’ll need to go to Daly City.

It should be noted, however, that many foreign cars are indeed made in the United States by Americans. So, really, either way you’re buying American.
