.
Can you guess which ones they are? A recent Wall Street study stated that Mississippi topped the list as the fattest, least healthy state in the country. And, what’s more, the poorer you are, the more of a chance you have to being obese. Only in America, can poverty = obesity.

The SF Chronicle reports that, “Aside from being unhealthy, obese Americans are expensive. They are more likely to “have diabetes, coronary artery disease, strokes and certain forms of cancer,” the spending on which the Journal of Health Affairs reported is now “$147 billion in the U.S., about double what it was a decade earlier.”

Here’s the list:

1. Mississippi
2. Alabama
3. Missouri
4. Kansas
5. Oklahoma
6. Nevada
7. South Dakota
8. Ohio
9. Arizona
10. New Mexico

Ummmhhh….your list is not accurate if you look at the map. Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, N. Carolina etc. all have higher obesity rates. What’s up with that?????
